On March 20, 2026, Morton released his third full-length album, Self-Loathing Never Got Me Anywhere, his most personal and emotionally exposed project to date. The album dives deeply into cycles of self-loathing and insecurity, struggles with mental health and self-worth, the weight of grief and personal loss, and the difficult process of rebuilding fractured relationships. Blending introspective lyricism with atmospheric indie rock and dream pop influences, the record captures both emotional heaviness and the hope of personal growth that can emerge from confronting it.
