We are beyond excited to welcome Catalan Winemaker Anna Espelt to North Carolina.
Her passion speaks loud. Anna is an explorer and pioneer of wild and uncharted territory in the rugged wilderness of the Cap De Crues Peninsula and National Park.
While her family’s vineyard is in the heart of the Empordà DO, Anna has literally mapped out her own new territory, documented the mosaic of soil types and planted vines at the Eastern most tip of Spain. Her studies in habitat restoration and organic farming led her to creating a vineyard harmoniously integrated like no other. Her wild yet elegant wines speak of this ancient landscape of granite, blue skies, sea salt and wind.
